ISN Leiden has its very own theatre club! Whether you’re a newbie to the stage or an experienced thespian, as long as you are interested in the theatrical arts, you are more than welcome to join.
At the start of every semester, ISN selects a play to perform, and subsequently everyone spends the next few months rehearsing and preparing the act. Since the aim is to perform a play at the end of every semester, this club does require a bit more dedication for rehearsals and such. Consider that there will be 2-3 rehearsals a week.
Due to time constraints, the play group does need to get practising quite early on in the semester. Follow the Facebook group or email if you have questions.
As of September 2014, the theatre club also conducts weekly workshops in theatre skills, including improvisation, mime, stage combat and film-acting. Join us on Mondays at 20:00 and learn something new. The Facebook group (same as above) will keep you posted on upcoming workshops.
